About the board
The Steam Report answers one question: which sauna can I book today or tomorrow, and where? It puts Cape Town's sauna operators on one board, so you don't have to check four booking sites.
Who we read
What we do and don't do
- We never take bookings or payments. Every Book link opens the operator's own page, and you book and pay there.
- No ads, no commissions, no booking fees.
- We only read public availability. We don't touch carts, checkouts or customer data.
How the times are read
We read the operators' public booking pages once a night to get their schedules, and places left for today and tomorrow every few minutes while someone is looking at the board. The board always says how old the reading is, for example "read 3 min ago" or "schedule from yesterday". If we can't reach an operator, we say so rather than show old numbers as live. Places left can change at any moment, so the operator's page has the final word.

Our reader identifies itself as TheSteamReport/1.0, and its User-Agent points to this page. It makes one request per second at most, and only reads availability. If you would rather we didn't list you, or want us to change how we read your pages, email hello@sauna.capetown. We stop the same day and remove you within 24 hours.
